Less a formal prayer than a cry of desperation that it is documented that Sir Kartheart seems willing to respond to his faithful for.

Effect

Basic Effects: The target's AS counts as being 2 higher. If this would cause the attack to miss, then that is what happens. If the attack would still hit, the damage is reduced by 1/4. The boost to Armor Score for the target lasts until the beginning of your next turn.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Target's AS now counts as 4 higher and any attack that still would hit the mark for the duration the damage is reduced by 1/2.

Tier III Effects: Target's AS now counts as 6 higher and any attack that would still hit the mark for the duration the damage is reduced by 3/4.

Manifestation

n a brief flash of steel and iron, a shield appears out of nowhere, partially deflecting the blow.
