Evelyn Tyrell

She is a magister of the Diamond Order, of course she manipulated you Amelie, you were about to immolate an entire orphanage! After which, because you would have survived, you would have been tortured and drowned as a heretic and an apostate. She saved your damn life child, and the lives of everyone in that building. She did it for the right reasons, and I won't brook any such anger in her memory!

Meriel Zanzibar, pyromancer, to her apprentice once she figured out what had happened to her that fateful day at the orphanage

Diamond Magisters are well known for their abilities to calm and relax individuals, and to be very persuasive and friendly, some might even say manipulative, but in recent memory, one name built her fame being a master of such skills. Evelyn Tyrell. Born to some poor farming family in the north eastern regions of Rohara, not much is known of her early life. But at the tender age of seven years old, she was discovered, her talents manifesting, and she was siezed, seperated from her family, and brought to the nearest Magisterium Collegiate in the city of Adra. There she was tested, and found to be tied to Spirit, and the rest is history as they say.

Once licensed, she took to the road, as many Diamond Magisters do, to seek her own apprentice and to help any other Arcanis Touched she stumbled upon, utilizing her school's magicks to detect such talents before they manifested in ways that could see such individuals arrested, tortured or worse. She became quite famous for her raw persuasive abilities however, more than once rescuing those whom had manifested their power, whom had touched the primordial and wielded it, uncontrolled, untethered, from cruel fates. Bribery, persuasion, deception, intimidation, she was known and rumored to be skilled at and to have employed them all throughout her career, and yet to the Magisterium Collegiates in Rohara and Susma, she is a folk hero, credited with saving and bringing into the fold no less than forty magisters over her career, spread across all the eight orders. It was her life's work, and she was known to wrap templars, police and anyone she had to around her finger, or to threaten, bribe or deceive them as needed. Whatever it took.

She sounds very interesting. I would love to see this character in action, and all the different ways these methods have effected her personality. You mention that she is a hero to her colleagues, but how close are they?
