Magnicore Focus Venting

Its basically a big fuck off beam of raw manna and energy.


Special, Dangerous (1): If you roll a natural 1 when making your Drive (Mech) roll to activate this component, you instead bleed the excess exhaust into the cockpit by accident and take the damage yourself.

Recharge (10): Roll 1d10 after using this, if you roll a 10 its recharged at the beginning of your next turn. Otherwise it takes a full minute to be back online again.

Special Energy Cost: This attachment also costs double its tier for energy cost (so Tier I counts as 2, Tier II as 4 and Tier III as 6.)

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Basic Effects: (Tier I): 30 foot linear blast that is 10 feet wide. All creatures within must attempt an Agility Defensive Test. If they fail, they take 1d6 of each of the eight elemental damage types (Fire, Cold, Lightning, Thunder, Poison, Necrotic, Radiant, and Psychic) as you redirect the exhaust from your mech's Magnicore engine through a bored out vent hole and crystalline enhancer to really keep it this structured devastating venting blast.

Tier II Effects: The damage becomes 1d12 of each elemental type. Becomes a 45 foot line.

Tier III Effects: The damage becomes 2d8 of each elemental type. Becomes a 60 foot line.
