Realm Stride

Amongst the Orders of the Magisterium, most cannot move about the various realms with any impunity. The expections are those of Emerald and Diamond, as each count, amongst their ultimate magicks, particular spell-forms capable of rather wide ranging planar travel, though each does so exceedingly differently.

Effect

Base Effects: Weaving the energies of Dulra in a mighty and massively complex spell-form, you initiate a natural reaction unlike any that even remotely regularly occurs, something so rare in nature that one may argue it should not be in the domain of Dulra. You open a Striding Portal. A Striding Portal is perhaps the most ancient magickal art, and one that remains stable only briefly, for if it were not designed to collapse in mere moments, the spell-form would be corrupted by the Void taint within the manna of our reality and very likely would redirect the portal to the Void, creating a tear in reality. So for the mere minute it is stable, you and your companions may go through it, though you as the magister whom conjured it, must be the last one through, for once you leave this reality, the portal will cease to exist. This portal can be targeted to any planar destination you have studied extensively (TN 22 or higher of the appropriate sort of Lore skill your GM demands) or any you have been to personally. Unlike others magisters with much more limited planar travel spells, this will not grant immunity to the environmental hazards within the realms you visit however.

Manifestation

"Allow me to understand this....quest we have now accepted because of you Gregory." Natalya spoke, rubbing her eyes, as she took her first sip of morning bitters. "We are to rescue a girl who's father brokered a deal with some strange little pipe playing creature that by description he gave you, must be a Saytr. A fey, and by best guess, not the ever elusive and rare friendly sort, but one of the Fell Fey. Because he thought he was being a smart man, playing the creature when it said 'you must give me your first born child and I can save the village harvest'. Because they got their rain, but this mayor, this farmer, this simpleton didn't stop and think that the fact that his kids were almost grown didn't matter to the agreement, that the Saytr was in fact NOT referring to merely any future offspring but also to the past and present ones as well?"

Gregory, whom was busy cleaning his revolvers, grunted as he glanced up. "Indeed that does seem to be the circumstances yes." the gnomish preacher replied with a smile, as he kissed the holy symbol he wore as a on his right hand. "It would seem a fine job for us, given we were here to investigate reports of disappearances and strange sightings of portal like images throughout the woods. One last job, we all agreed, one last hurrah before we retired."

Natalya sighed shaking her head as she downed her morning bitters in one go, letting her blonde and silvering hair fall from the bun she'd had it up in, as she threw on her thick leaf green cloak. "The Faellen Realm was not at all what I had in mind when I agreed to one last job and certainly not as charity. This farming village better be able to pay for this. We'll just do this here, I care not whom sees any longer, I'm to old. Give me your hands."

Her friends dutifully obeyed, and Natalya ran through the necessary symbols in Arcanis, weaving the energies of Dulra into a swirling pattern amidst their circle that opened to be about seven feet by two feet, a shimmering view of a dark and twisted mirror of the world around them visible. Not evil, just shadowed, dark, and poorly lit, with less color and vibrancy. She urged her companions in one by one, and stepped through to join them.
