Mechanics & Inner Workings

Craft DC: 16, Tier II; 21, Tier III; 26

Range: 60 feet

Duration: 1 minute

Basic Effects: Blast Radius 15 feet. Dangerous (1). This weapon doesn't explode in the same fashion as most bombs that the bomber might utilize. It is a much quieter weapon, the powder being used to heat the toxic compound within, in conjunction with the emerald manna, to release it as a gaseous cloud over time. All creatures within the area are engulfed in a sickly off green cloud of toxic gas. The cloud may have some level of unique effects based on the animal(s) or creature(s) toxins used to create it (GM discretion). Any creature caught in the cloud initially or that enters it whilst it is present, must make a Fortitude Save. If critically failed, they are afflicted with Toxic (2) and they take double damage. If failed, they take 2d8 Poison Damage and gain Toxic (1) Condition. If successful they take full damage but suffer no conditions. If critically successful they take half damage.

Rank II Effects: Blast Radius 20 feet. Damage becomes 3d8 and it becomes Toxic (2) or Toxic (4) for critical failure.

Rank III Effects: Damage becomes 4d8, and it becomes Toxic (3), Toxic (6) for critical failure.
