Summercamp 2024 Pledge

DIAMOND OR DEATH!!!!!

So my goal, if not obvious from that title and the image above this is the same as always. Gimme that diamond or give me death. I got that feral and rabid badge goblin in me and they be
So.... Very.......Hungry

This year however, after last year was crazy and learning how Iike to do thing, learning that I'm actually okay with being less about visual presentation and just wanna write, but also with learning a new trick or two and a new tool or two, I am again altering my Summercamp approach. Valerick is much bigger than I've really showcased. I've only really given one continent any love at all, and on that, I've got one region (kingdom) that simply hogs the spotlight. Suranth the Tundra Realms by far directly or indirectly has more articles and just bits and bobs fleshed out and written than anywhere. The continent of Durol likewise. However blank canvas remains even there.

But this summercamp the goal is simple. No focus. No one region. Lets open the doors. Lets fly the world. Let us simply tour the maddest corners of my ancient memories and notes from a project I've had living in my mind since I was but a tiny child, one way or another. Let us open the floodgates and simply ride the waves regardless what shores they may see us land on!!! And thus, though I will prioritize the continent of Gavis-Lune or Wyriel for articles over Durol, ultimately anywhere I have yet to flesh out is fair game. Any place, any spit of land, any little tiny little corner of my ancient notes (those that still survive, including a notebook I still have from when I was like 14, the abject horror and joy of it xD) all of them are fair game!!!!

I've always loved summercamp for the feral and mad energy of it all, the sheer waves of excitement, the flooding burst of collective creative energy that could power a continent that this community just...turns on, finds, hypes in each other and just floods each other with through love, passion and just joy and excitement. Like a dam bursting and overflowing, so why not simply ride the wave? Should be fun right?!

Well, best of luck (or bon appetit?) to you - I kinda like your more chaotic approach and I'm looking forward to see the results. Have an awesome summercamp!

Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
