Athens is both the largest city in Aeatheric Greece and it's capital. Athens suffered greatly during the years after the Trojan War, losing many citizens to blight and disaster, causing many to flee to the prospering Thebes. With the Gods' return, Athens has seen a renaissance in culture, power, and commerce. Many citizens displaced from their homes across the nation seek refuge in Athena, Goddess of Wisdom's city, hoping to start anew or recover what they once had elsewhere.
