Hestus Rex

Innkeeper of the Highwayman Middle-aged human male, messy top of salt and peppery hair, barrel-chested and burly but past his prime for sure. Hestus always seems to busy in body and mind but always keeps his customers and friends needs before his own. Though sometimes aloof or uninterested, Hestus when focused is actually a great business and salesman. When his open and friendly demeanor, rumors and gossip often find his ears first and though he tends to get a bit gabby when drinking, but has managed to keep a great deal quiet when he wants to. The sole-living member of his family in The Crux and hasn't left his post as innkeeper in over two decades, hears a great many things about the world but his know-how his mostly about "his" town and how it operates. Hestus is helpful and open to assisting mercenaries who provide extra 'security' for his inn due to his recent paranoia. The local rumor is that there is something tied to his family and a gift from the gods, his shift in behavior has made this one the most popular version.
