The Highwayman
The Highwayman is one of the oldest establishments in the Southern Crux an has been run by the Rex family for over 300 years. The innkeeper, Hestus Rex, is well-liked (mostly) and well-known in the bustling outpost and often times is seen as the unofficial leader or face of the town.
The Highwayman itself is a large "L" shaped building built into the stone facade in the SW portion of town, a number of aging but well built and maintained wooden structures have been added creating multiple rooms for lodging. As the only inn in Socrux, the Highwayman does well and has nearly 30 rooms available. The multi-tiered layout has the first floor rooms carved into the stone and ground while staircases mirror the main building or tower leading to the second floor and the nearly all wooden rooms.
