Esharra

The Twin Goddess

Long ago, Esharra was solely the goddess of life, fertility, and the harvest. When humans and Therians were first created, legend has it that she split off a part of herself to guide their souls to the afterlife. Esharra is worshipped both as a single deity, and as two halves of a whole: Esharra the Gold governs life and growth, while Esharra the Silver is the goddess of death and endings.

Divine Domains

Esharra governs both life and death. Priests of her golden aspect are granted miracles relating to life: they can heal wounds, ensure successful pregnancies, or speed the growth of crops and flowers. Esharra's silver aspect grants miracles relating to death: her priests can send injured souls painlessly to their rest, preserve corpses, and commune with the recently deceased.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Esharra's priests work to preserve the balance between life and death, ensuring a smooth transition between the two. Priests of her golden aspect work as midwives and healers, and periodically ride out to nearby farmlands to help with the growth of crops; conversely, priests of the Silver Goddess act as undertakers and embalmers.
