Fighter Social Abilities

Professional Soldier

Fighters are experts at the art of war. On or off the battlefield, they know give and follow commands with expert precision.    You gain proficiency in Intimidation. If you already have it, you gain expertise in Strength (Intimidation) [Command] or Dexterity (Intimidation) [Command]. When you make social attacks with the chosen expertise, you damage die increases to 1d8.  

I Outrank You

You know how and where to use your authority for maximum effect.   Starting at 3rd level, your Intimidation Checks against someone of lower rank than you have Advantage. Additionally, Intimidation Checks from someone of lower rank than you have Disadvantage against you.  

Commander's Demeanor

You know how to lead your comrades in battle, whether that means organizing armies or leading the charge yourself.   Starting at 7th level, you choose one of the following methods by which you lead your allies.  

Valiant Sergeant

You gain proficiency in Persuasion. If you already have it, you gain expertise in Charisma (Persuasion) [Leadership]. When you Push It, you regain all of your Social HP.  

Brilliant Strategist

You gain proficiency in History. If you already have it, then you gain expertise in Intelligence (History) [Strategy]. When you succeed a social attack with this expertise, the next social against the target deals maximum damage.  

Competent Swagger

People can tell just by looking that you know how to use your weapons. They will think twice before messing with you.   Starting at 10th level, as long as you are wearing or wielding a weapon, reduce all social damage from Intimidation Checks by 1d4. Additionally, your Intimidation Checks deal an additional 1d4 social damage against targets who want to avoid violence.  

Warrior Spirit

You embody your profession. Whether that is the honorable duelist, or a menacing sword for hire.   At 15th level, you can choose one of the following personas that you emanate.  

Honorable Duelist

Your honor precedes you. You gain expertise in Strength (Intimidation) [Martial Prowess] or Strength (Intimidation) [Martial Prowess]. When you succeed a social attack with this expertise, you deal half again as much social damage to the target if public image is at stake.  

Menacing Mercenary

You exude menace. Your social attacks made with Intimidation crit on a 19 or 20.  

Flow of Battle

You wield groups of people as well as you wield a sword.   Starting at 18th level, you can make social attacks through your troops. This effectively lets your subordinates (whether soldiers, bodyguards, accountants, or otherwise) extend the range of your social attacks as long as you can still communicate with them to give them orders. For example, you could send soldiers to a nearby kingdom to try to intimidate a Baron, or you could make social attacks against an enemy commander during a battle.
