Unshakeable Guide
As a Ranger, you use your wilderness survival skills to gain the upper hand in so-called "civil" interactions.
You gain Proficiency in Handle Animal. If you are already proficient in it, then you gain expertise in Wisdom (Handle Animal) [Soothe] or Wisdom (Handle Animal) [Alpha Demeanor]. When you make social attacks with the chosen expertise, you roll 1d8 as your social damage die.
Favored Enemies
Starting at 3rd level, your Favored Enemy bonuses apply to Social Combat as well.
Implacable
Your time hunting monsters in the wilderness makes you difficult to manipulate.
At 5th level, you have Resistance to social damage caused by Intimidation checks.
Aspect of the Wild
Your time in the wilderness gives you an air of mystery that can be used to harm or bolster.
At 9th level, choose which of the following aspects of the wilderness emanates from your persona.
Aspect of the Predator
When a creature you can interact with suffers social damage, you can make a Soothe or Alpha Demeanor attack against them as a Reaction.
Aspect of the Survivor
Allies who can see you are encouraged by your presence. The first time they would drop to 0 Social HP in an encounter, they instead drop to 1.
Not Impressed
It takes more than simple jibes to phase you.
Starting at 13th level, when a creature fails an Intimidation Check against you, your next social attack against them deals maximum damage.
Ruthless Efficiency
Your time hunting monsters lets you know how and when to strike for maximum effectiveness.
Starting at 17th level, once per social encounter, when you deal social damage, you can put everything you have into one final strike. After the damage is dealt, you can immediately drop to 0 Social HP and Push It, escalating the situation, to make another social attack. If this second social attack hits, it deals extra damage equal to the amount of Social HP you sacrificed to make the attack. (So if you have 15 of 20HP left, you can use this ability to drop to 0 HP then Push It, going back up to 10 HP. Because you started with 15 HP, the social attack will do 15 extra damage if it hits.)
