Long, long ago the people of Aedeva were many and scattered. Autonomous and without leadership, they were fraught with wars and destruction. In those days, two men of immense power stood above the rest. Cir and Leotheric, the self proclaimed king and general of the land, gathered mighty armies and united the peoples of the world.
Under the banner of the Twin Suns the land grew prosperous, but it was not to last. Leotheric began to envy Cir, even going so far as to consider himself Cir's equal. When the land became besieged by dark gods, the Twin Suns stood to hold them back. They were successful, once again saving the world from war and strife.
Discontent with peace in the world, and crazed by an obsession with strange, dark magics, Leotheric finally betrayed Cir, plunging the land into darkness and war once more. With the splitting of the Twin Suns the land was split. Armies of light gathered against hosts of darkness under a sun that was neither dark nor bright.
After unknown years of warfare, Cir slew Leotheric on the fields of Melavik. He and the Lawbringers banished the Undying from the material plane. In doing so, the empire of Cireth was formed, and a new age of peace begun.
Nearly 4000 years later, the relative peace of the land fades. Servants of Cir war amongst themselves, fighting not for honor, but for land and profit.
Snatchers prowl the lands, stealing people away in the night, only to sell them to the elves of the west.
A nearly endless tide of orcs assaults the northern banks of the elven lands.
The goblins of Chedonc are on the move against Cireth, lead by a fearsome warlord who claims to be the Goblin King reborn.
All the while, the Undying watch from the shadows, laying down plots upon plots. Preparing for the return of the dark wizard Leotheric.
