Dragonborn
The Dragonborns are the closest descendants to Dragons that exist within the world of the Scaledfolk that live. The Dragonborns were created by Ubo'Tao to be the perfect vessels for his rule and to be humanoid dragons. It was Ubo'Tao first attempt at creating humanoid life and he succeeded tremendously. After the successful creation of the Dragonborn, the Lizardfolk, Yuan-Ti and Kobolds followed suit, making the rest of the Scaled-kin.
During the Uprising Wars, the Dragonborns, alongside the Lizardfolk ditched their creator, Ubo'tao and defected to the side of the Shackled Pantheon. While the Lizardfolk found home with Yeenoghu, the Dragonborns found their home with Tiamat. However, with the weird stagnation that exists due to the Amber, both Tiamat and Ubo'Tao live in the capital and only settlement of the Draconic Union, Garriarrix. They have ensured the stability of the Union and although the two brothers despise one another, they make sure the balance of power is peacefully transitions from the Chromatic and the Metallic Unions.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Dragonborn society, similar to the Orcish society is based off of power and strength. This is a tradition that was brought upon by the Dragons and has been continued with most of the Scaled-kin. It is common for the Draconic Chieftains while not in power to lose their seats as well as their lives when another Dragonborn challenges them to fight.
Facial characteristics
They don't have any particular facial characteristics, most of these diverting features come from the color of their scales.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
The Draconic Union, located in the Veilnum Archipelago is the home of the Dragons and the Dragonborn people. For thousands of years, the Clans of the Colored Dragons lived in somewhat harmony. The government is a rotational monarchy, which means every handful of years they swap power from the strongest clans to the weakest ones. This ensures that the Dragonborns hopefully do not fight amongst themselves even though that happens.
Average Intelligence
Despite being the ancestors of the long deceased Dragons, they have not inherited their Intelligence. Their Intelligence is on par with most races of Aedir. This is due to Ubo'Tao stripping them of their magic and intelligence when they defected to Tiamat during the Uprising Wars.
