Duari (Dwar-ee) (a.k.a. The Wave Watcher)

Duari was the last of the Vita to be created by the Dual Dragons. Duari, also known as the Wave Watcher is the God of the High Seas, Exploration and Navigation. Duari is also the creator of the Merfolk, the Darphellan, the Triton and the numerous nautical life that lives within the oceans. Duari also created the Plane of the Water, to act as one of the Four Elements where Primal Arcana was drawn from. Duari is often praised by sailors and explorers, as they sail into the uncharted lands in hopes of glory or to give their lives new purpose.
Duari is pretty opinionated on a lot of things, and to some he might be seen as a bit of a cocky asshole. This is all true, as he has a bit of an arrogance towards him. He sees it as natural, that someone has to take the mantle of a "cocky asshole", if everyone else is going to be a goodie two-shoes about situations around the world. This brings him to blows with many of the Gods and Goddesses of all Pantheons, as his cocky attitude brings conflict with the more lawful gods. Gods like Moradin often think that he should be more Lawful to his followers, to with which Duari replies with "Those that chart the seas already have more grit than most of the people here. These Sailors don't deserve Law, they deserve the raucous life they live."  
During the Uprising Wars, Duari spent most of the time shepherding his followers to Underwater Citadels he created specifically for them, as well as sending some of his followers to the Plane of the Water. He also spent most of his efforts sealing the Sahaguin, which are Devils that reside in the waves from getting into the Water Plane and sealing it off from their corruption.

Holy Books & Codes

The sailors code, which applies to sailors of all creeds and lifestyles (naval sailors, freelance traders and pirates) all follow the Codes of the Seas. These Codes were originally crafted by Duari and are set up as guidelines for those who live the life as one who patrols the Sea. 
1. The sea is an entity that shall be given the respect it deserves. This applies to the lives that traverse both above and under the water.
2. While conflict is to be expect, each sailor killed within the line of duty shall be given a respectful burial. While the money on their ships shall be plundered, the money on a dead man shall not be plundered as it disgraces the dead. 
3. Above all else, shanties shall be sung about your exploits and a pirate's life for you shall be lived!

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The divine symbol of Duari is a clam shell with the symbol of a trident on it. This is usually worn as a shell necklace across the neck of his followers.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Divine Goals

The main divine goal of Duari is to watch over the seas, and ensure that the Sahaguin corruption doesn't spread further than it already has. He's also trying desperately to prevent the Sahaguin from entering the Water Plane. He knows that if the Sahaguin enter the Water Plane, then most of the life within the Plane would cease to exist. Similar to the Gnolls, the Sahaguin were ascended to sentience by Yeenoghu and also have an endless hunger for food.
