Human

The Humans were the first Races created on Aedir alongside the Elves by the dual dragons during the Pre-History. The Humans owe their creation to Rovun "The Fractured Moon". The Humans and the Elves forged a strong bond, as they suited each other's weaknesses. The Humans are one of the hardiest people in the world, next to that of the Dwarves. With their versatility and ability to pick up skills at a very young age, the Humans and Elves have supported one another's weaknesses. These new settlers on a barren world established kingdoms, empires and millennia of opulence followed...   The Elves and Humans looked forward to a future without war, one of peace and coexistence between their kinds. However, as other races like Dwarves, Gnomes and many others were added to the mix, that vision got muddled. Compared to most, the Humans came to blow with the Orcs of the World, as the two are the antithesis of one another.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Human society is radically different compared to Elves. There's no caste system, but instead there is a big societal emphasis on working together with the other races of Aedir to succeed on prosperity. Their society is weighed on how much work one does, and if they work enough, it'll lead to a lot of societal success.

Facial characteristics

Humans have normal facial structure, maybe more rounded than their Elven counterparts. Humans have rounded ears and also have no problem growing any facial hair.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Due to the Humans adaptable nature, the Humans have the ability to live and prosper in almost every environment. From the deserts of Isodyrn to the frozen tundra of Graza, only Humans can achieve such a feat.

History

As stated previously, Humans were created by Rovun, the Fractured Moon. Their sole mission was to colonize and populate the planet while the Dual Dragons set up the Solar Pantheon and allowed the other Gods to create races of their own. Due to their short lifespans, many humans try to make their life more fulfilling then those that live for centuries like Elves, Dwarves and Gnomes.   When Adalla and Rovun departed behind the Solar Barrier to let the Gods and mortal rule the world, the Humans felt anger as their creator was essentially maimed and killed during the Uprising War. The Humans pushed their anger for their creators death on the Orcish people and the Humans joined the Dwarves in their long crusade of the Orcs, leading to a mass die off of the Orcish people at their hands.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Due to the creation of Humans and Elves being created by both the Dual Dragons, Humans and Elves have the ability to birth Life, which are commonly referred to as Half-Elves. These are often praised in Human society, as they are seen as the perfect fusion between the Elven heritage and the Human heritage. Humans are also able to reproduce with Orcs like Humans are, and create "Half-Orcs" but with pale green skin and more Human like features.

Humans, compared to their Elven counterparts are a bit stockier and hardier. They are the opposite of the Elves in that regard. While not as stocky as Dwarves, this hardiness lets them be able to pick almost any career path they aspire too.

Their body tint changes depending on where they are. For example, Humans in Graza are a lot lighter in skin color due to not receiving sunlight, while Humans that live in Isodyrn have a lot darker skin.
