The Society of the Dragonmarks

Although these Dragons lay long dead, hunter by dragon hunters seeking fame, some people within the world bear the marks of these people, known as the Dragonmarked."

The Society of the Dragonmarks is a society of people blessed with a Dragonmark. A Dragonmark being a sense of power within a individual with Draconic Ancestry. Historians speculate that there is 13 of these Dragonmarks spread across the many different races of Aedir. These "Dragonmarked" individuals hold within them a great power, the power of the Scaled Kin and of their Draconic ancestors. There are two types of Dragonmarks; Lesser and Greater. Those who have a greater tie to their Draconic Ancestor can draw forth more power, while those who have a lesser mark can still summon their power, but on a lesser scale.
The Thirteen Draconic Ancestors:

1. Medani - First Gold Dragon
2. Tharashk - First Silver Dragon
3. Vadalis - First White Dragon (symbol of a moon with snowflakes around it)
4. Jorasco - First Black Dragon (symbol of a black snake going in the eye sockets)
5. Ghallanda - First Green Dragon
6. Orien - First Bronze Dragon
7. Sivis - First Copper Dragon
8. Deneith - First Brass Dragon
9. Thuranni - First Blue Dragon
10. Lyrandar - First Copper Dragon
11. Kuchiki - First Red Dragon
12. Vol - First Pink Dragon (symbol of a heart made out of pink scales)
