Torinn

Torinn (a.k.a. The Hollowed Star)

When the creation of light is made, the creation of darkness almost always follows suit. The two are in a never ending state of flux, as both vie for control of the world, but are both necessary in one's And in the darkest corners of the world are where deals are made. Ever present in his elegant black suit and his golden rings is Torinn, hidden in the darkness, there to foresee that the deal is maintained and kept. If not... well, he'll step in and make sure those wrongs are made right.   When the Dual Dragons were created and light was brought to the barren world of Aedir, so too was darkness. Adalla and Rovun actually worked hand in hand with Torinn and ensured that peace was kept. As Human and Elvish kingdoms and empires rose, so too did the Halflings, with demon's luck to aid them in times of need. However, tensions began to rise, as it was natural for two forces that were destined to be opposed to one another.   It's a common misconception that Torinn struck first, and that blow started the Uprising War. However... that's not exactly true. Rovun was the one who struck first. As the tension over the denizens of the Underworld and the Material Plane came to blows many times. In a very heated argument, Rovun struck first with his Dragon Breath attack which consumed Torinn. And the rest is history. Battles were fought, friend fought against friend and many of the Gods that were shunned from the Solar Pantheon were accepted into the Shackled Pantheon as new Gods and Goddesses of a different Pantheon, a Pantheon no longer shackled by the whims of the Dual Dragons.   Now Torinn sits in a weird spot. He was victorious in the Uprising War... but at what cost. His former friend was killed and the two pantheons are now in a bitter stalemate. Torinn now watches as the world shatters in front of him, as conflicts arise and people tear each other down for fame and prosperity. Through it all, he blames himself. He hates his former self for what he has done to the World. Torinn is trying to make up for his actions and atone for the sins that he created, as out of everyone in the world, his conscious is probably the most heavy, a conscious that is shackled to his mind always dragging him down.   The Hollowed Star
