Yeenoghu

Yeenoghu, also known as the God of Gluttony, Ferocity and Hunger is a bit of an odd God. He's mainly odd as he's one of the only animals that ascended to Godhood, and as such he isn't necessarily humanoid, but has the intelligence of a humanoid. Yeenoghu as a simple hyena was always hungry, and hungered for food day and night. However, upon feasting upon the dead corpse of an Angel during the Uprising Wars, the unsuspecting Hyena gained superhuman intelligence. And using this influence, he made a pact with Torinn to ascend him to Godhood, with the condition of aiding him in the Uprising Wars. Which, he kept his side of the bargain. Given his own version of Divine Essence, Yeenoghu let out a howl that shook the world. This howl morphed the hyenas around the world and mangled their skin, turning them into Gnolls. These Gnolls were born with endless stomachs and a desire to kill and then eat the killed... in any order.   These Gnolls quickly became the bane of humanoid settlements, but in a completely different way than Goblinoids. While Goblinoids could be persuaded with coin or killed easily, Gnolls are a different beast in their own right. Gnolls go for the thing that settlements pride theirselves in the most, their food. They raid the farms in the night and when the farms are picked clean, they go after the vulnerable. They do not stop. They keep eating until anything edible is picked clean. Survivors even claim they see Gnolls eating the wooden frames of buildings or even cannibalizing their own weak. Anything to ensure their unending hunger is satiated. To this day, Gnolls were and are the biggest threat to humanoid progress, as their death count of humanoids grows in junction with how a city grows.   The Consumption

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Divine Goals

Yeenoghu's goals are a bit hypocritical in a way. Yeenoghu wants to solve the problem of world hunger, but wants to solve that problem by making their hunger endless, leading to more hunger. This will lead to a cycle where hunger is created by the unending gluttony Yeenoghu creates. Yeenoghu believes that gluttony leads to laziness, which is a shackle of this world. To flip this notion on his head, Yeenoghu wants to make everyone hungry to destroy the concept of Gluttony.   If needed too, Yeenoghu will also drive those across the world crazy, in hopes that they will drive food stock down and bring chaos in the form of food shortages. So, while Yeenoghu has a good ideals, his goals are marred by complexities and hypocrisy, befitting of a Chaotic God. He's also the cause of a lot of strife within the world as well, as the Gnolls he create are beings with endless stomachs and are willing to eat anything to survive.
