Daughter to a prominent business man in Cindurr, Maeralya was married to her husband Luvon when she was 80 years old. The marriage was arranged between her parents, members of the Cult of Zumren, and Rania Zumren.
While the match was not initially, Maeralya grew to have positive feelings for Luvon, and together they had 5 children, the last of which Tanila Zumren and Ialantha Zumren, who were six years old when Maeralya, Luvon and the rest of the family were killed by Julian Magnus and the rest of the group sent to get rid of the family. Her youngest two daughters were the only two spared.
