Society of Myth

Not all are accepting of the way things are now. There exists among bards a secret society known as the Society of Myth that harbors knowledge of things forbidden. Bards of at least 5th level may be invited into the secret society by an existing member whose confidence and trust they have earned.
Members of the society are required to share whatever they learn with the society on a regular basis as well as donate 10% of all they earn to pay the society’s operating costs. They are also expected to develop networks of informants who will keep their eyes and ears open for additional sources of forbidden knowledge.
The bardic knowledge penalty for society members is reduced to -15 plus 1 additional reduction in penalty for each level they have been a member of the society in good standing.
