Barebliss
Barebliss is a Human holiday celebrated on the night of the first full moon of Lekaris during the month of Lekaren. The celebration is uniformly the same around the world and involves large bonfires in public places where Humans will shed their clothes and dance nude around the fire while drinking. Typically people will wear crowns of woven red azaleas, a favorite flower of Lekaris, during the celebration. The celebration is meant for Humans to "bare all" before Lekaris, referring not only to their bodies, but to the topics of conversation that typically come up during the festival. Humans are encouraged to be vulnerable with their fellow community members and share their fears, aspirations, and regrets. Humans are in high spirits during the festival, and many consider it their favorite holiday.
The other races find this tradition a bit strange, because not all races of Aellorah are as comfortable with nudity as Humans are, and the Elves in particular find the tradition vulgar and offensive. Some Elves put aside their gut reaction in favor of acceptance, but many Elven cities will ban the tradition or restrict where it can be held so that they do not have to "bare" witness to it.
