The Dawnstar
Description
The Dawnstar is a mercenary group with a presence on Arak and Myr. This group worships the goddess Astix, and are devoted to seeking out and destroying undead creatures.
Background
The Dawnstar began as a religious group, followers of Astix. During a time in which undead attacks on villages were becoming more common, they banded together to begin hunting and destroying undead creatures. While most members of the group are followers of Astix, the group has also attracted followers of Lys and Estrea who also wish to rid the world of the undead.
The group is led by a Human woman named Thea Blackbane, who has previously served as an avatar of Astix during a wellspring fueled infestation of undead in Arak that darkened the skies for weeks and killed tens of thousands. This event was known as the The Long Night.
