Wildshire

A small mining town along the road between Mythward and Mapleguard in the Sudwin Valley region of Arak.

Wildshire is home to many kinds of craftsmen, and their economy thrives due to several unique resources available to them from the nearby mountains. Their primary commerce comes from the trade of Shadowflame Coal, a unique type of coal found below the mountains that burns with a dark blue flame and is useful is crafting magic items and certain rituals. There is also Stormsilver, a unique type of silver that can absorb and store an electrical charge. This is highly coveted by the Dwarves of Reshyk.

They also have Frostfire Berries, a unique berry that grows near and on the mountain in the colder temperatures that produces a satisfying burst of heat when eaten. There is a brewery in town that produces a special type of mead with this berry.

There is an event that takes place during the full moon of Umos where wisps will appear at the base of the mountain, lingering until the townsfolk notice, at which time they begin to race up the mountain and toward the Axalrea Hinterlands' dead zone. The townsfolk harvest these wisps for their essence, which makes a useful reagent for some potions and magic items.
