Dwarves

In the world of Aelluros, the dwarves are a race of proud and fiercely independent beings who have made their homes in the rugged and mountainous region of Almoroc. For centuries, they have lived in isolation from the rest of the world, dedicating themselves to mining the rich veins of ore that lie beneath the earth and crafting some of the finest weapons and armor known to man.
At the head of this great dwarven civilization stands the Iath Tuang, a title which translates to "king of the mountain" in their ancient language. The Iath Tuang is more than just a leader; he is a symbol of the dwarves' strength, resilience, and unyielding spirit. This title is bestowed upon a dwarf who possesses not only great wisdom and strength, but also a deep connection to the earth and the mountains. It is said that the Iath Tuang can hear the very stones speak, and that he can call upon the powers of the earth itself to defend his people.
The dwarves' capital city, Stonehelm, is a marvel of engineering and design, built deep within the heart of an active volcano called Mount Cairnheim. This volcano provides a natural defense against invaders, and the dwarves have fortified their city with walls of stone and iron. Within the city, they have built magnificent halls and chambers, where they conduct their business and celebrate their culture.
Despite their isolation, the dwarves of Almoroc have developed a rich and complex society, with its own laws, customs, and traditions. They are renowned for their skill in metalworking, stone carving, and engineering, and their goods are highly sought after throughout the land. The dwarves are a proud people, who value hard work, loyalty, and family above all else. While they may be slow to trust outsiders, those who earn their respect and friendship will find themselves welcomed into the fold of one of the most skilled and respected races in all of Aelluros.
