Nydall

(a.k.a. the Treacherous)

Nydall is a god of trickery, known for his wit, cunning, and playful nature. He delights in outsmarting mortals and even other gods, often for his own amusement. Depicted with a mischievous grin and a twinkle in his eye, Nydall is a god that both mortals and other deities approach with caution.   Unlike many gods who prefer to maintain a distance from their followers, Nydall enjoys interacting with mortals, often taking on disguises or using illusions to test their cleverness. He is said to have a particular fondness for those who are quick-witted and resourceful, and his blessings are often bestowed upon those who demonstrate these qualities.   Nydall's influence is felt in all manner of trickery, from simple pranks to elaborate cons. He is often invoked by thieves, gamblers, and anyone seeking an edge in negotiations. However, his unpredictable nature means that those who call upon him must be prepared for the unexpected, as Nydall's blessings can just as easily turn to curses.   While Nydall is not evil, his love of trickery sometimes leads him to play pranks that have unintended consequences, and he has been known to cause chaos and disruption for his own amusement. Despite this, many mortals view him as a benevolent god who rewards those who are clever and resourceful.   Nydall's domain includes not only trickery and deception but also luck and fortune. Some believe that he is capable of manipulating fate itself, and that those who gain his favor are blessed with good luck and prosperous opportunities. However, others warn that one should always be cautious when dealing with Nydall, as his tricks can just as easily lead to misfortune and ruin.
