Thundering Plains
The Thundering Plains is a vast expanse of grasslands and prairies that extends for miles on end. Despite its seemingly endless flatlands, the region is home to a variety of terrain, including rolling hills, shallow valleys, and occasional streams and rivers that snake their way through the landscape. It lies just west of the Crimson Peaks and just south of Almoroc.
Life on the Thundering Plains is far from easy, as fierce tribal rivalries between the various races of centaur, minotaur, and loxodon that call this place home have kept the region in a constant state of conflict for centuries. Each tribe has its own unique culture, language, and beliefs, and will stop at nothing to protect what they see as rightfully theirs.
While the region may seem desolate, there is a hidden beauty to the Thundering Plains that is waiting to be discovered. Vast herds of bison and antelope roam the grasslands, grazing on the nutrient-rich plants that grow here. Small mammals like rabbits, prairie dogs, and ground squirrels scurry through the grass, while birds of prey like hawks and eagles circle overhead, searching for their next meal.
As night falls, the Thundering Plains come alive with the sounds of nocturnal creatures like owls and bats. The vast open skies provide a perfect canvas for stargazing, with the stars shining so brightly that they seem close enough to touch.
