Erotium Hafdottir
Duke Erotium Hafdottir
Son of Epidicus and Postumia Hafdottir, and their firstborn. Erotium was born in the year 204.
In the year 223, when Erotium was 19 and his sister Cantilya Hafdottir was 16, the two engaged in a romantic relationship with one another. They married in 229, and Erotium took over as Duke of Sudein a year later in 230 when his father Epidicus Hafdottir died.
Erotium was extremely unstable as a leader, but thankfully took over after the Courting of Ejiiri and so was not a participant in any significant wars. However, when the time came after Leonov's War for Aldurstein to appoint a Senator to represent them in the Federation of Miliim, Erotium suggested his firstborn son and, upon being rejected, grew absolutely furious with the then-ruler of Aldurstein. His rage was furthered by the explanation given being the "wanton madness of Erotium and his family", in addition to the "plague of incest" that had pervaded the family for centuries. Some believed Erotium would attempt violence against the Queen of Aldurstein, but instead, he slit his own throat in her halls at that moment, in the year 252.
