Lunar Observatory

Zapada's Reach, originally the Crescent Temple when it was first created following the first arrival of the Unknowables, was the lair of Zapadaes, the Arctic Rage. It was here that Marius von Inalt and his entourage brought the white dragon down... and later the site of the Exaltation that allowed chosen heroes during the Reckoning to seal Urguzuth away. Some time after the Reckoning, Wetzel Liberatus established the Lunar Observatory here, a laboratory devoted to monitoring the status of the moon and combatting the inevitable return of the Unknowables.
