Appointment of Viceroy Imren Drakechild

King Ridvan Basaran appoints General Imren Drakechild as Viceroy of Buern, then departs from Elzveir, declaring his war with the nation over and his father avenged... but he would soon learn he had failed in the latter task.

Sometime after Buern had been split into two, with its southern region declared a vice kingdom and Fainarran territory, King Ridvan Basaran selected a viceroy for his new territory. He did not wish to select a noble but a warrior who could hold the territory well, especially as Aerdan had not yet concluded its role in the war and was still actively attacking cities under Fainarr's control in Buern. King Ridvan turned to Matriarch Erna for guidance on who to choose, and she immediately suggested Imren Drakechild, an extremely devout Prismatist who was also a highly decorated general. Imren had renounced his name during the war with Buern and fully devoted his life and existence to Revansa, having a new name given to him by the church upon his request. His family, the Steelwillows, had been immensely wealthy despite not being noble, yet Imren had renounced these riches to devote himself to Prismatism fully.   King Ridvan Basaran officially appointed General Imren Drakechild as Viceroy of Buern, making him a nobleman by appointment. Imren was then due to wed Mariella Woodwillow within a week, but Imren insisted the ceremony be held within a chapel devoted to Revansa. As no such chapel existed in Buern, a chapel devoted to the deceased goddess Judecata was altered and repurposed to be a church of Prismatism. The process took quite a bit of time and resources, delaying the wedding until later in the 11th month.
