A long period of peace allowed the Nation of Nouvemond to flourish... But that attracted everyone else's eyes.

With all of the cities united and working together for their benefits, the nation was able to grow and increase dramatically their international trade. This lead Nouvemond to a golden age, but not without a cost.   Now the world could see the riches Nouvemond possessed, and this attracted the attention of pirates and big nations alike. In the year of 99 AE, a small attack force came from the east, and while Nouvemond was able to respond and intercept them in time, only 7 out of their 200 soldiers returned alive. Despite their victory, for those heavy losses the area of the battlefield was named "Edgemourn".
