Founding

Another group detached from Nouvemond to form a new settlement, this time to escape from the war against Hrastgar.

As the years went by, more the war against Hrastgar seemed pointless to the people of the Nation of Nouvemond. Some of them, tired of this senselessness, gathered themselves to leave to somewhere else. The leaders of the nation threatened them for their deserting, but it was to no avail.   They decided to head west, for there was the territory Nouvemond had less control of, and as there were some skilled miners from Vilennor among them, they gave a shot at the mountains, where they could be hard to find, reach, and also create a lot of space to live in.   And indeed they did find a good place to settle down, atop a cliff. They named it Hawkcliff, for it was a region where many hawks have made home.
