We-” -Fragment of a letter dating from the first birdfolk to settle on the Material Plane, after the First Isolation.   Today, the spires rise high and the domes seem to belong in the sky, almost as if nature itself had put them there. OThe Aarakocras who have been called @Exiles by those still in the Elemental Plane of Air, the Aerials after the @First Isolation, have evolved and adapted to this new Plane a long, long time ago. Their cities dot the sky as surely as the Dwarves' populate the mountain's insides or the Elves' occupy forests, but the sky is not their only domain any longer, no more than the Hill Dwarves would say the mountains are their sole refuge.   The Second Isolation began not so long ago and the autorities are trying to understand how to fix it.
