Druids of Aerildol

The druids of Aerildol for the most part belong to one of five sects, each with their own philosophy and approach to nature. Each of these has a leader that governs the members of the sect. Over all of these, is the Grand Druid, seen as the chosen of Noallian. The current Grand Druid is an ancient earth genasi. As with all Grand Druids, once they adopt this mantle, they are take on a new name and are thus referred to as Grand Druid (insertname). The current Grand Druid is a Grand Druid Stoneclaw.   Druid Sects:
  • The Feywardens - This group of druids sees their role as defenders of the Feywild and champions of nature. They feel that they must push back against all that endangers the sanctity of nature and those who would choose to subvert of endanger it.
  • Order of the Elements - These druids focus their magics on primordial energies of the planes. While each may focus on what particular type of element (fire, water, earth, wind ) they can deal in all of them. This order actually has 4 leaders, one over each primal element.
  • Nightsbane Clan - These druids value the sanctity of life and the nature world around them. As a result, they see themselves as protectors of the world against those things they see as abominations: undead and aberrations.
  • The Maiden's Own - Deep adherents of the peaceful aspects of nature, these druids seek to bring for the growth and wonder of nature. If they are not helping push back droughts or plaques, they will often be found creating beautiful gardens or oasis for travelers. They are also gifted healers.
  • Guardians of the Gates - Much evil comes to Aerildol of an extraplanar nature. The Guardians are the protectors of Aerildol form those forces of other planes. In particular they are bent on pushing back fiends and demonic forces from the lands.
