Aerion is a world currently in its seventh age, one of strife and chaos after Dragons have returned to the world and laid claim to it. A great and seemingly indefeatable empire has crumbled into chaos almost overnight after its capital and much of its land has been ransacked and claimed by the returning wyrms.   Meanwhile civilization survives as points of bright light in the darkness. But as chaos spreads and the Dragons reassert their dominion heroes must arise once more before it is too late. The dragons had been banished once before, long ago in the mists of time, and the secrets of their defeat are long buried in the forgotten places of the world...
