Festival of Renewal
At the beginning of Spring and before planting, a festival is held in Amaunator's honor. The festival celebrates the planting season and the hope of new life. It is customary for pregnant women to receive a blessing during the ceremonies. Newborn children from the past year are given a blessing by a dash of freshly made olive oil as a celebration of living their first year of life. Drink and song are had as well as the ushering of the first hunting days.
The Pageant of the Arts
At the end of Spring the most colorful event of the year begins. For the last week of Spring every poet, artist, writer, singer, dancer, entertainer, and the like gather in major cities to put on a spectacular show of color and talent. Bright paper lanterns are lit and colorful dust is thrown at pageant goers and performers alike as creativity is celebrated throughout the lands!

Divine Goals & Aspirations
Amaunator desires law and order throughout Aerios. He greatly dislikes anything that runs against that order or wishes to cause chaos to the mortal world. His design is to give mortals a sense of purpose through laws that allow for peaceful co-existence with one another.
Amaunator stands as a direct enemy to Bane the god of Tyranny as he presents rulership meant to oppress rather than promote flourishing.
