Ari's Embrace

Summary

The capital city of Ari's Domain. With this being the first city, and the one mostly cared for directly by Ari during it's upbringing, it's a fairly developed city consisting of many small wooden homes, often these households have a family of 4 or so. It is well known for its woodworkers and even its blacksmiths. It is a prosperous town where the gifted are often seen working in the many shrines around the town. Even though they can do as they wish, the heavily spiritual culture of the inhabitants of the domain, especially this town, make the gifted tend to prefer to work as devotees to the caregiver, Ari. While peaceful in nature, there is no place in all of Aerith without its share of crime. Long ago it is said that Ari herself punished evildoers, but by now she no longer does so. The domain's inhabitants developed their own law enforcement, very severe and punishing against any transgressors found guilty. The main landmark of the town is Ari's Temple, said to have been built by Ari herself during the town's conception, it is the most spiritually charged place in the entire domain, and in all of Aerith. Many outsiders who wish to commune with the spirits to attain enlightenment seek entrance to this temple, often making the pilgrimage to the small land-bridge that connects this domain and also Inari's domain, often waiting days if not weeks or months to go inside the domain.
