Aerithian Geography

After the Ascension of the Dragon Lords the Pangaea of Haven was sundered into five distinct continents, each with their own culture and history.

The Continents of Aerith

Abereith

A great desert continent in the heart of the Fire Aspect, Abereith relies heavily on the small oases that dot its landscape. Goblins rule the majority of the continent but a large oasis in the centre of the land is held by Humans. Natural defenses, as well as years of Human ingenuity have preserved their survival against the onslaught of Goblin hordes, however, their life is hard and without much time for entertainment.

Cha’lla

A great swamp surrounding a deep forest lays across the continent known as Cha’lla, otherwise known as the Blind Swamp. Situated in the Earth Aspect, there are many small islands surrounding the mainland, that hold all manner of creatures, including the rare Tabaxi. Grippli, Bullywugs, and Lizardfolk all compete for superiority, with a small smattering of Humans, and Elves near the centre of the land mass.

Dovak

Located in the Water Aspect, Dovak is a series of islands, with the main island being called Dovak. Dwarves, Genasi, and Humans dwell mostly in Dovak, along with Aquatic Elves and Fallen. Tritons, Merfolk, and many sea creatures populate this island culture. Slavery is accepted and regulated within the culture of Dovak.

Sangor

Split between the Air, and Arcane Aspect, Sangor is the only continent to have access to two Aspects. As such it is a continent of divided natures. Horsemen of the mountains and plains run free, while honourable samurai occupy the cities of the south. Humans, Dwarves, Goliaths, Giants, Halflings, and Tabaxi all reside in Sangor.

Starhelm

Located in the Divine Aspect, Starhelm is the largest of the five continents. It contains every type of environment, including swamps, mountains, deserts, forests, plains, and hills. Each Founder Race is represented on Starhelm and many gods are worshipped across its lands. The site of the devastating cataclysm known as the Fractioning, Starhelm is now cut off from the other continents. Travel to and from Starhelm is very dangerous and infrequent.
