Aerithian Power Levels

The powers of Aerith, including Starhelm, fall into a strict and balanced hierarchy called Tiers of Power. Within the tiers are also varying levels of power but those in a tier are all relatively equal. At the top of this tier, and technically separate from it, are the Three Pillars – the creators of the universe; Force, Movement, and Time. The powers below them may not always agree with them or appreciate them, but they all recognize their supreme power and the necessity of having them maintain balance.   Below the Three Pillars are the following Tiers: Sovereign Beings; Imperial Beings; Immortals. Within each are further subdivisions as detailed below.
Tier One: Sovereign Beings
Cosmic beings of extreme power, Sovereign Beings rank second in power only to the Three Pillars. They make up and represent the very fabric of the universe in its physical and spiritual nature.   Within the Sovereign beings tier are the Eight Magna Primes (Anamare, Aquios, Atrapon, Ignis, Janosis, Morthos, Tereale, and Terralin The Dragon Lords (Drakova and Ilbrendar and Zayphos, the Pinnacle of the Avariel. While all the Sovereign Beings make up the highest tier of power, a hierarchy still exists within this tier, with the Magna Primes at the top, followed closely by the individual Dragon Lords*, and finally the Avariel Pinnacle Zayphos. Though he might be the weakest amongst the Sovereign Beings, the honour that Zayphos has displayed has vaulted him into this tier while the other Pinnacles reside in the second tier of power.
Tier Two: Imperial Beings
Imperial Beings make up the bulk of deities worshipped on Aerith (The Pinnacles, Luminaire Primes, and The Twelve Shards of Alucar).   The hierarchy within this tier puts the Pinnacles of Aerith at the top, as the most powerful Imperial Beings. As one-time mortals, these deities were gifted divine power from the Three Pillars and arose as gods, representing the best of their individual race. On Starhelm, the Dwarf Denethen, the Halfling Lutien, the Human Alucar**, the Grippli Erswetz, and the Goblin Golzect were all selected to arise. Other Pinnacles were selected in each of the Aspects that divide Aerith.   Below them sit the Luminaire Primes, minor beings from the time of Void that have become deities for mortals, like the Lizard Folk, the Minotaurs, the Giants, etc. They function the same as the Pinnacles but they are not as powerful.   Finally, there are the Twelve Shards of Alucar, the fractions of the Human Pinnacle of the Divine Aspect. Though individually they are on the lowest level of the tier, collectively The Twelve make up the entirety of power of Alucar, equaling that of the other Pinnacles. While the power of their worshipers did not diminish, it was divided up amongst twelve gods.
Tier Three: Immortals
The Immortals are the most powerful beings that still walk on Aerith. These beings, though not quite deities can still be worshipped in their own right and have been known to share their power with those they deem worthy.   The three types of Immortals are Greater Spirits, Exalted, and Transcended Powers.   Greater Spirits are minor beings from the Umbra created after the creation of the universe, or dead spirits that a deity would not return to like but still wanted to honour them by having them serve at their side.   Transcended Powers were mortal beings that have transcended beyond mortality through some means, like the Crystal Queen of Aspenshield, the Witch Queen of Starhelm, The Conclave Magus, or Korgobonthonor the Shadow Dragon of the Mire.   The Exalted are beings who have achieved their divinity through other means, like the children of gods (full or demi), blessed souls, Drakons, or Umbra dragons.       * Ilbrendar and Drakova individually are below the Magna Primes, but as a unified force they are at least on par with the Magna Primes, and potentially even more powerful.   **Alucar was destroyed during the Fractioning and his essence was shattered into twelve distinct beings, collectively known as the Shards of Alucar (or sometimes The Twelve).
