Tara
Off the coast of Elba, where the Leviathan Sea meets the Mists of Enes lies the sea green island of Tara. It's here that the Cullough, the children of the ancient king Culann live and fight among themselves.
Geography
Southern Tara:
The Aos foothills of southern Tara drop to cliffs as they meet the Leviathan sea. The Bradán Stream flows through the Aos Foothills from its spring at the peak of the Ríchathaoir (the Aos Foothills only mountain). Named after the legendary Aos Court, the Aos Foothills are rife with tunnels which guide the Bradán Stream.
Western Tara:
The west of Tara is dominated by Eilc Woods, an old-growth forest of ash and oak. The Eilc Woods are watered from the east by the flowing Bradán Stream and its offshoots. The oldest dún or "ring forts" dot the landscape of western Tara.
Eastern Tara:
The eastern borders of the Eilc Woods meet the Réimseauk. The Réimseauk is a rolling grassland and one time home to the Bolg. Scattered bogs dot the Réimseauk fed by offshoots of the Bradán Stream
Fauna & Flora
Hares, elk, foxes, and small wolves roam the landscape of Tara, while auks, kites, and birds of prey roam the skies. The waterways and coasts of Tara team with all manner of life and in particular with salmon from the Leviathan Sea.
Taras forests are predominantly oak and ash while many types of heather, cottongrass, and wildflowers carpet it's hills and grasslands.
