Thrones of the Domains

Thrones, found in Domains excluding Aervos Prime, give whoever sits in the Throne the control of the Domain, and essentially grants them Godhood of the realm. They are sought out by both mortals and spirits, as a Throne can be claimed by anyone with the power to access it and dethrone the current Master.

Formation

The first Thrones were found in the original Seven Realms, discovered by the First Gods as unoccupied. The Thrones are built after the Realm appears, as new Domains do not already contain Thrones. It is theorised that the Thrones are built by the Architects. They are the only ones with the power to create objects like these. It is unknown as to why the Architects abandoned the Thrones.

Ascension

To claim a Throne, one must first access the Domain. There are only a few ways to do that, either through a Domain Gate or being summoned by the current Throne Master. One must then find the location of the Throne, which is not always a simple task. Many Throne Masters make it a point to keep the location of the Throne secret, or assemble buildings, obstacles, mazes, etc. that could prevent any ambitious person from reaching their throne. Even still, the Throne cannot be claimed until the current Throne Master is either killed or has given it up. Once that is done, once may claim the Throne, and the power it wields.

Powers

When one claims the Throne, they gain great power. Essentially a God to that realm, they hold dominion over the domain. A Throne Master gains access to the magic found in that realm, and can grant others who gain their favour access to that magic as well. If any are wielding the magic when a new Master claims the Throne, they continue to be able to access it, and the Master must seek them out if they wish to reclaim it.
