History
History of Mosia is the history of Epidromeas. Mosia used to be a uninhabitable jungle full of dangers. It still is, but since Epidromeas, there has been an official foothold for Kith.
Epidromeas was a noble son of the city-state of Itomenion. He had no chance of gaining the throne, but he did gain control over the royal fleet. He quickly proved himself a talented admiral. When the Night of Revenge happened, the night in which most nobles of Itomenion were killed by mobs of peasants, Epidromeas was out at sea, as usual. Instead of going back home, he decided to use the small part of the navy that remained loyal to him and become a pirate. Quickly he was the scourge of the Great Sea.
After a few years he decided to found a new city, yet he did not have the strength in numbers to steal territory from an existing power. Only the jungles east of Rakefia were unclaimed. So he went to the southern shores of said jungle, and started his own pirate city. From Mosia, he ruled his pirate empire, to every honest sailor's great chagrin.
Governance
Despite its bloody practices, Mosia is a very democratic state. A king is elected after the current one dies or is ousted. The king is supported by an elected Council of Sealords.
Geography
Mosia's land is covered in a giant jungle. It is often said that the massive forest came to be by magical, unnatural means. This is supported by the fact that most of its beasts are mutated, giant versions of their normal counterparts. This jungle is split in two by the Zounia river. At the mouth of this river, the great harbour city of Mosia claims its stake.
Current state
Mosia is currently governed by Seaking Belathar I. His council of Sealords consists of these captains:
Cpt. Berkarr Hullcracker
Cpt. Karkinos
Cpt. Melara The Shark
Cpt. Avaris Greedfall
Cpt. Jonarus Adelfum
