The seas around Aeseron have always been tumultuous. Ever since The Maelstrom wrecked havoc though, they have been uncrossable. Since then, ships can not travel too far from the shore. Seafaring is still very important to many cultures, but access to other continents has been cut off. The names, cultures of these continents have been nearly forgotten by the common folk.
