The Brotherhood is among the Five Shepherds within the Revered Orders, the institutions governing the Kingdom of Alar. Distinguished as the foremost influential Order, they serve as the hands and divines of law and jurisdiction, trying to fight for authority within the walls of the Hall of the Five Shepherds while it is already practiced on the people of Alar.
Upon reaching the age of 16, every Alarian citizen faces a significant choice: They must elect to join an Order, binding themselves to lifelong service, or entrust the Revered Orders to select on their behalf, a choice predicated on their individual aptitudes. The Brotherhood ranks among the Mandatory Orders, a mandatory option for young and old.

The Brotherhood's ascension to unmatched influence traces its roots back to the outcome of the Summer Uprising. Emerging from a humble and insignificant cult, the Brotherhood transformed into the paramount lawmakers of Alar, a transformation primarily attributed to the political acumen of King Harwo during the 800s and 900s. Presently, they reign supreme as the arbiters of justice, serving as judges, priests, and lawyers. Their sway over the common populace is bolstered by a deceptively simple yet profoundly intricate religious doctrine.
