Alarian Faction: The Chaplet Ring
The Chaplet Ring is one of the governing institutions within the Kingdom of Alar, bearing the responsibility of representing the monarchy and nobility. Situated in Trigate's Citadel, the Chaplet Ring holds its place among the Revered Orders, yet it is not a member Order of the Five Shepherds, nor does it possess the privilege of accessing the Hall of the Five Shepherds.
At the age of sixteen, every citizen of Alar is confronted with a choice that will define their life's course. They must make a decision: to choose one of the Orders and dedicate their future to it or yield to the judgment of the Revered Orders, who base their choice on the individual's innate talents.
Despite their status as unofficial adversaries to the rest of the Revered Orders, the Chaplet Ring retains a position on the Mandatory Orders' list, thanks to their wealth and influence. Their apparent enemies, the Five Shepherds, have no choice but to accommodate them in this manner.

In the Alarian governance, the Chaplet Ring's role appears two-faced. Officially, they are a component of the Revered Orders, however, in the harsh light of reality, they stand as antagonists to the remaining members of the Revered Orders and the Five Shepherds. The nobility entrenched within the Chaplet Ring engages in perpetual political combat against their counterparts in Trigate's Citadel. Political intrigue, acts of assassination, and clandestine bribery are the very core of their everyday lives and interactions with the Five Shepherds. This tumultuous lifestyle is perpetuated by the Chaplet Ring's relentless protection of the monarchy's interests and the preservation of noble authority. Members of the Chaplet Ring constitute talented and chosen group of individuals, including royal knights who valiantly defend the monarchy, devoted royal servants who ensure the smooth operation of the royal court, and the lords and ladies of Alar. At the top of the hierarchy lies the monarch, serving as the Lord or Lady of the Chaplet Ring, embodying the essence of the Order. The Chaplet Ring's duty is to protect the sovereignty and traditions of the monarchy, aiding the interests of the nobility against the backdrop of ever-present tension and strife within the halls of Trigate's Citadel.
