The
People of Alar, commonly referred to as
Alarians, inhabit the fertile plains of southern
Aesor, known as the
Plains of Alar. Notably,
Alarians are born without the
Elemental Host, a unique elemental trait that normally distinguishes races from eachother (for example
Water -
Nepheli,
Fire -
Volkran), however this characteristic is completely absent within the
Alarians.
Throughout history,
Alarians have often been perceived by other races as resilient survivors, akin to rats or cockroaches in their ability to weather various challenges that
Aesor presents. Their remarkable adaptability and numerical strength have contributed to this reputation.
While
Alarians may lack inherent elemental blessings or formidable physical and marcritic prowess (magical), they compensate with their resourcefulness, adept diplomatic skills, and unyielding determination.
Alarians typically achieve adulthood in their late teenage years and tend to have a lifespan of less than a century.
Physical Description
The
Alarians exhibit the classic humanoid form, ranging in height from 5 to 6 feet. Their physicality is characterized by a well-balanced blend of strength and agility, marking them as a versatile race capable of adapting to various environments and challenges. Even though significantly weaker in most equal terms compared to other races, the
Alarians are the jack of all trades of
Aesor.
Alarians possess a diverse range of appearances. Spanning a spectrum of skin tones, eye colors, and hair textures, they showcase the beauty of
Alarian diversity. From fair-skinned individuals with hair as golden as the sun to those with rich, ebony complexions and dark, raven-like hair, the
Alarians embrace the splendor of their varied features.
Origins
The
Alarians, trace their origins back to the
Year 168 of the First Age A.A. Alongside the other races, the
Alarians are believed to have been molded by the hands of the
Ă“hin. However, the precise nature of this creation remains obscured in the annals of history, shrouded in the mists of time.
Originally fashioned from
Ephyran genes, the
Alarians have diverged significantly from their origins, evolving distinct characteristics and forging a unique personality and attitude. This departure from their ancestral roots is evident in their distinct mannerisms, worldviews, and cultural ethos.
Throughout their existence, the
Alarian race has been embroiled in numerous conflicts and challenges. These trials, far from weakening their resolve, have fueled their determination to surpass their limitations. With an unwavering spirit, the
Alarians persistently strive to transcend their boundaries and stand as the idols of continuous improvement and advancement.
