Vahalzaar Faction: The Wayfarers of Vahalzaar

The Wayfarers of Vahalzaar constitute a predominantlyVolkran'dir collective of nomadic tribes and solitary individuals who have rejected the Volkran societies and the notion of settling down. Emerging primarily from the remnants of an ancient Volkran city called Birg, which was repeatedly ravaged and rebuilt a staggering 14 times throughout its centuries of existence.

The Cursed Border

The city of Birg is notorious for the horrid fate of being rebuilt a total of 14 times, despite the destruction it endured 14 times over. This relentless cycle of ruin and reconstruction was primarily the outcome of Birg's unfortunate position as a coveted prize in the perpetual tug-of-war between the Clans of Vahalzaar and the Realm of Zhor. The city's misfortune stemmed from the regularity with which it changed hands, leading to the inevitable erosion of trust on both sides. This climate of insecurity, compounded by the constant specter of betrayal, ultimately culminated in a cycle of destruction and ruin. In the face of these repeated devastations, the remaining inhabitants of Birg embarked on a transformation of their way of life, driven by a deep-seated fear of settling in a place that had borne witness to unimaginable horrors.

Nomadic Resilience

The Wayfarers of Vahalzaar are a diverse ensemble of individuals, including deserters, war survivors, and outcasts, hailing from both the Volkran'dir and Volkran'dur people. They converge in their shared pursuit of a fresh beginning and the desire to escape the ceaseless conflicts and calamities that have plagued their past lives. Nomadism becomes a lifeline, providing them the mobility and adaptability to traverse distant lands in search of refuge from the turmoil that once defined their existence.
