Curled Finger
No one is sure where Curled Finger is located, but it's safe to assume everywhere. They are an assassins guild, a group of hired killers specialised in killing specific targets and committing acts of terror. Curled Finger assassinated the Lord of the Bay 60 years ago, brutally killed the majority of House Darkhood 25 years ago, and managed to kill a member of the Undying Council 3 years ago. They've also killed a number of minor figures and even more regular people.
Curled Finger is known for clean work and willingness to do what the client requests. Its members will brutalise and torture individuals if asked. They're often found in cells in different cities, with only the heads of the cells knowing any information about the actual leadership of the guild. These cells work through whispers, trading in secrets to learn of those seeking help from the assassins. From there, discrete meetings between the client and a member of the Curled Finger will take place before a sum of coin and specific requests are agreed upon. Then, the Curled Finger will send an agent to do the job. Curled Finger agents remove the fingers of their victims, keeping the bones as trophies to show status in the guild.
Very little is known of the administration outside of the Curled Finger cells, as only those within the organisation have any idea of how things work - and even then very few general assassins have every dealt with others outside of their own contained cells. This has created a nearly untraceable leadership infrastructure. However, the moniker of its leader - the "Living Lich" has been whispered before. It's believed this individual is someone of extreme wealth. There have been claims that they wear full plate armour, with a helm shaped like a skull, and that no part of them is visible to the light.
