Halfling
Referred to as Smallfoots by the Pale Elves, Halflings are often aloof, content running farms or small shops in towns. Halflings dislike the bustle of large cities and aren't fans of the lack of society in nature, preferring small time life that sits in the middle. However, Halflings are also known as brutal fighters and have a reputation for being deadly warriors when it comes to actual warfare.

Halflings Names vary with those in central Requiem and Vanreth having fairly standard names for the race, while those that live in the deserts see far different naming conventions.
History
Halfling history isn't known well. Most of it is told orally, and has been lost to time. Only the moments recorded by outsiders has been seen. It's known they fought against the Pale Elves and were one of the first to openly rebel against them in the south. It's also known in modern times they've fought off Dragon hordes from the Nightlands, and then have later hosted individuals escaping the Nightlands.
