House Scaleswept
One of the founding houses, Scaleswept has controlled Krakens Blood Keep and its surrounding land since the time of the empire. Primarily built around its fishing industry. Scaleswept has shown little desire for the throne - content with controlling the land they have. Only once have they pushed into Anchorpoint and even then they quietly gave the throne up to avoid major conflict with Ashwell. Scaleswept has been seen as lacking ambition, but many have point that who they back tend to hold control of Vanreth - thanks to their strong military might.
Recently Scaleswepts head passed away in his sleep, leaving Orithina Scaleswept - elven hero and adventurer - as ruler. She's been quietly called the Serpent of Scaleswept, an ambitious woman looking for power beyond the bounds of her houses borders.
